Chapter 12: Cry of the Hunters

I'm so happy that we're going home. I don't know what to tell everyone when we get back. Do we tell them that we all brutally murdered Simon? That me and my hunters killed Piggy? We did horrible things on that island, and we all just want to leave them behind. Ralph better not tell when we get back, or else we'll all be in serious trouble.

We got rescued! For some odd reason, we were trying to kill Ralph! We almost caught up to him when he ran into the officer that was wearing a drill and epaulettes. We had set up a cordon to catch Ralph, but he diddled us. We would make ululations as signals as to when we did, and didn't, see him. I still can't remember why we tried to catch Ralph. It was probably just a childish game. Yes, just a game.

I was an idiot, but I saved our lives by lighting that fire! I just had a feeling it was the right thing to do.
