(1) Characters:
At first when Matt went to the orphanage, I thought Chacho would present a problem for him, because of the way Chacho 0was treating the other orphans. But, I was incorrect, and it ended up that he and Chacho would become very good friends. The first impression of Chacho was that he was kind of a bully, and bossed everyone around. Since then I have thought again about Chacho. and I have decided that he might sometimes be rude, but he is just voicing his opinion, in harsh, but true ways.
(2) Favorite Character:
Although I liked Matt very much, my favorite character was Tam Lin. I liked him, because he was nice, smart, and also honest. I bet that any body guard or other Alacran Estate member wouldn't have the guts to tell Matt about all the horrible things El Patron did, including giving him a book by Maria's mother. He wasn't afraid to tell the truth, even when his life was at risk, and I think that deserves special treatment.

My favorite character would be Matt because he knows what's important. He knows to stop the opium empire in order to make the world a better place to inhabit. He also knows that Maria is more important than anything else, so he does his best to protect her. He has true moral courage, even if he is a clone.
3. My favorite character is Tam Lin because hes not very mean, hes repectful, and very honorble. Another reason is that he makes sure you make the right choices because he faced the consequences when he made bad choices when he was young.
