This is my review on the DVD Set Planet Earth by the BBC. While watching this movie I learned about the plains, jungle, tundra and some geography. The geography that I learned while watching this movie was that grass occupies 1/4 of all land on the earth, and that many of the world's largest rivers are in rain forests. Jungles are a very important ecosystem and sustain many forms of life. I learned that in the jungle some frogs lay their eggs on leaves to keep them moist and from drying out, and that many monkeys are territorial. I also learned that snow geese fly all the way up the length of North America to breed every spring in the tundra. I learned that elephant grass, which is the tallest grass in the world, grows on the plains of Africa and that the smallest and rarest pig, the pigmy hog, also has its home there. I would recommend this series to anyone.
