Vocabulary

Cahoots: Secret partnership: An accountant in cahoots with organized crime.
Emblem: A sign, design, or figure that identifies or represents something: The emblem of a school.
Delegation: A group or body of delegates: Our club sent a delegation to the rally.
Throbbing:
Any pulsation or vibration: The throb of engines.
Reverberated:
To rebound or recoil: Her singing reverberated through the house.
Impetuous: Moving with great force: The impetuous winds.
Predicament:
An unpleasantly difficult, perplexing, or dangerous situation: The predicament was surely a bad one.
