Immigration Questions

An immigrant is a person who travels to another country to find a job or a place to live. I think some of the main reasons immigrants come to the U.S. are so they can get better jobs, better homes, escape persecution by their government, and so that they can lead better lives in general.

I think the U.S. has more to offer than quite few countries. We have free schools, good agriculture, and many special holidays that have a great significance to those who celebrate them. I think the U.S. has changed dramatically with immigration. The U.S. is much more culturally diverse than it used to be, and I think the diversity has helped it thrive and become a greater country. The U.S. has helped many immigrants find better lives, and at the same time other cultures have enriched the lives Americans with their foods and languages.

I think my life has changed due to immigration because myself and many of my friends are the children and grandchildren of immigrants. I think that immigrant cultures have influenced us in many ways, just as we have influenced other countries and cultures.
