(1) Describe Hideo's personality based on what you know about him so far. How does he show his courage? How does he view his family and his position in it?Hideo's personality seems to be very nice, prepared and courageous. He is always was prepared for what is about to come next. I think he showed his courage when he went into the bathroom to see if his friends had been killed by the Korean Communist Army. I think it took courage just to go into the bathroom because he could have come seen the bloody bodies of his friends on the floor which would be horrible. I think he views his position in his family a responsible one because he is there to help when father is gone.

I found the part when the KCA went through the bodies of the workers lying on the ground and if they were still breathing they shot them at close range.

1.I like that you put the question on there. Well I also agree when you said that it was courages to go into the bathroom because no one wants to see dead bodys.
